New Toddler Play Dates this Spring!

Tours & Open Houses

We welcome you to visit the school any day between 9:30am - 10:30am. Touring the school is required to apply to our program.

During your visit we will give you information about the school and answer questions. Your child is welcome to attend with you and explore the space as well. If you decide that our program is a good fit, please request an application from admissions@smpns.org and submit it with a $100 application fee.

Enrollment is ongoing. Children ages 2.0 and older may register for any schedule, pending availability. Potty training is not required. Visit our FAQ page for more information. Children ages 15 months to 24 months may join our Toddler Play Groups on select Saturdays.

Please Note our Special Events & Winter Closures:

Winter Break: December 18th -- Monday, January 5th

January 16th -- Teacher Work Day

January 19th -- MLK Day

February 16th -- President's Day

Although we strive to offer camps during closures, we do not offer tours during these times as they are not representative of our usual school day rhythm and run on a skeleton staff.

Parking is limited to a few spaces reserved for teachers in front of our school.

Please park on Monte Diablo and enter through our garden gate beside the Bay Trail entrance when visiting SMPNS.

Flexible Sessions

You may choose 2-5 mornings (based on availability). If you wish, you may further extend it with the lunch hour (12- 1pm) - so you can have a morning session from 9am-1pm or add an afternoon session from 1pm-4pm. The school also offers Late Care until 5:00 pm. A healthy snack is provided mid-morning and mid-afternoon. Children bring their own lunch if applicable. Children who attend TK may attend an afternoon session from 1 pm-4 pm. The nursery school generally follows the San Mateo/Foster City school calendar with special reduced-hour camps offered during some breaks.
